Saturday Mornings

Saturday mornings in fall are the best mornings of the year. These are the only mornings I will wake up early, despite the fact that I love to sleep. It used to be for Saturday morning cartoons, but by the time I was eleven I learned the true reason Saturday mornings were created. College football. There's nothing like sitting down on the couch in front of your t.v., eating a bowl of cereal, and switching between a game from California and a game from Florida. Every Saturday, rivalries are on the line, rankings are changed, dynasties fall and upsets happen. In the era of the BCS every game counts. There's no playoffs, so your best bet of holding that crystal football at the end of the season is to go undefeated. It's amazing to think that over your bowl of cornflakes, you can see lifelong dreams end and millions of fans' hearts broken. Hmph,I think I need some more orange juice.
